Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2017, Volume 18, Issue 9,   Pages 1437-1446 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.1601577

Abstract: jamming by frequencydiverse array (FDA) in radar electronic countermeasure environments.FDA offers a new range-angle-dependentDue to the coupling between theangle and range, a mismatch between the test angle and physical angleoccurswhen the slant range on which the beam focuses is not equalto the slant range of the real target. In addition, the range of thetarget can be extracted by sum-difference beam except for time-delaytestingtwo pulses with zero and nonzero frequency increments, respectively, is proposed to ensure that the angle

Frontiers of Mechanical Engineering 2021, Volume 16, Issue 3,   Pages 435-450 doi: 10.1007/s11465-021-0630-x

Abstract: However, finding the analytical solution of an EMM on the basis of arm angle parameterization is difficultFirstly, the analytical inverse kinematic solution is established based on joint angle parameterizationerror is corrected using a numerical method through the analytical inverse solution based on joint angleLastly, case solutions confirm that this method has high precision, and the arm angle parameterizationmethod is superior to the joint angle parameterization method in terms of parameter selection.

Kd-tree and quad-tree decompositions for declustering of 2D range queries over uncertain space

Ahmet SAYAR,Süleyman EKEN,Okan ÖZTÜRK

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2015, Volume 16, Issue 2,   Pages 98-108 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.1400165

Abstract: We present a study to show the possibility of using two well-known space partitioning and indexing techniques, kd trees and quad trees, in declustering applications to increase input/output (I/O) parallelization and reduce spatial data processing times. This parallelization enables time-consuming computational geometry algorithms to be applied efficiently to big spatial data rendering and querying. The key challenge is how to balance the spatial processing load across a large number of worker nodes, given significant performance heterogeneity in nodes and processing skews in the workload.

Abstract:

The Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) is an evolutionary computation, which not only can search solutions randomly and fully, but also is convenient to be carried out. Hence, the article focuses on the application of PSO to the multiple-objective coordination optimization of project, looking forward to seeking best solutions easily and quickly. After introducing the basic theory of the algorithms and its several versions, the article aims at the efficiency coefficient of quality, cost, time and resource subsystem, and set up a multiple optimization coordination model. In the following part, the article introduces how to apply PSO to solve the project coordination optimization problem in detail. The numeric example followed indicates that PSO can solve the multiple-objectives coordination optimization problem of project exactly and quickly.

Frontiers of Structural and Civil Engineering 2013, Volume 7, Issue 1,   Pages 62-71 doi: 10.1007/s11709-013-0192-z

Abstract: Concrete is extensively used construction material in the infrastructure development industry. With increase in technical knowhow, the need of research for high performance concretes such as self-compacting concrete (SCC) has increased in the last decade. The adaptability of SCC is due to its fluidic behavior in fresh state. However, to develop SCC using indigenous materials, the lack of standardized mix design procedures is the biggest impediment. Although with the advent of chemical admixtures, it is possible to achieve concrete with high fluidity, but at the same time durability issues require more attention. To have these fresh state properties SCC mixes are typically designed with high powder contents, and chemical admixtures. Proportioning and optimization of these materials is a key issue in the mix design of SCC. This paper focuses mainly on experimental study to optimize dosages of superplasticizer for mortar of SCC and then in concrete mixture itself.

Computation of the protein molecular mechanism using adaptive dihedral angle increments

Mikel DIEZ, Victor PETUYA, Mónica URIZAR, Erik MACHO, Oscar ALTUZARRRA

Frontiers of Mechanical Engineering 2013, Volume 8, Issue 1,   Pages 104-108 doi: 10.1007/s11465-013-0360-9

Abstract:

Protein motion simulation is still a troublesome problem yet to be solved, especially due to its high computational requirements. The procedure presented in this paper makes use of the proteins’ real degrees of freedom (DOFs). The procedure makes no use of any intermediate energy minimization processes that may alter the motion path or result in very high computational cost requirements. In order to reduce the computational cost, presented algorithms make use of the balls and rods approach for protein structure modelization. Also, structures are normalized in order to minimize inaccuracies introduced by experimental methods, providing a more efficient but still accurate structure for motion simulation.
